Watchipals is a Smartwatch with mobile phone features which was created by parents for parents and designed specifically with kids in mind. With no internet access, a custom designed parental control App, accurate location tracking and many great safety features.
The Watchipals smart watch works in a similar way to a mobile phone - it takes a 4G Nano SIM card for connectivity and it allow children and parents to stay connected at all times.

How does it work?
Just like your mobile phone, the Watchipals smartwatch takes a 4G Nano SIM and keeps your Watchipals watch connected even outside of Wifi reach.
You'll be able to contact your kid's Watchipals via Voice calling / Video Calling / Messaging or group chat as well as using the GPS tracker to find your child location at anytime.
All that, without compromising on safety - Parents can set up specific numbers to be allowed to contact/be contacted by their kid's Watchipals watch, set up specific hours when the watch can be used, set up alarm reminders, timetables and many more exciting features.

DOES Watchipals Watch CONNECT TO MY PHONE THROUGH BLUETOOTH LIKE OTHER ADULT SMART WATCH BRANDS?
No, the Watchipals Watch is a standalone smartwatch with it's own cellular service, so it does not need to connect to your cell phone. It does not require an outside Bluetooth connection as it takes it's own SIM card which allows it to make phone calls, use data features, video calling & messaging.
Which Mobile network service providers works with Watchipals in Australia and New Zealand ?
The short answer is All of them.
Watchipals Smartwatch will pick up the network settings automatically from any provider in Australia and New Zealand and in case needed you can also add another provider settings manually.
You can choose to use a SIM card from any network provider that suits you.
Australia - Optus, Telstra, Vodafone, TPG, Amaysim, iPrimus, ALDI, Belong, Coles Mobile, Woolworths Mobile, Lyca, Dodo and more.

Safety - Who can track/call the watch and be contacted by the watch
Watchipals was developed with Safety first in mind.
Only parents can access/give access to the app and track the watch, use the remote monitoring features and change configurations.
So with safety function switched on, Kids will only be able to contact / be contacted by the list of Approved Contacts - configured by the parents.

HOW DOES THE WATCHIPALS LOCATION TRACKING WORKS?
Watchipals uses 3 different technologies and will automatically choose the best signal for the most accurate location.
Your Watchipals does not need to be on Wi-Fi to track and will work in 3 steps to offer the most precise location: GPS, LBS and Wi-Fi.
While connected to Wi-Fi - The watch will locate using Wi-Fi network, If the watch cannot locate using the Wi-Fi network or the Wi-Fi signal is weak, it will locate a GPS signal with a location accuracy between 10-150 metres.
In GPS mode, while the accuracy is higher, its required that the watch will have a SIM card with data and good signal.
If a Wi-Fi or GPS signal is not available, the watch will locate based on the nearest cell tower signal and use the cellular tower location to provide location (LBS). The locating accuracy in this mode is depending on how far the cellular tower is from your Watchipals. Watchipals will mainly use Wi-Fi and GPS to track and will rarely use cellular towers. However, some of our customers who live in rural locations do rely on cellular towers as they do not have access to strong Wi-Fi or GPS signals.

How does the Watchipals GEO FENCE ( Safe zones ) works?
Watchipals smartwatch allow parents to set up Safe zones, for example - school,home,friends house and so on... so in case that the child is leaving the pre-defined safe zone - parents will receive notification and current location of the watch.
Messaging & Contacts
HOW DO I CONTACT THE WATCH? IS IT THROUGH MY PHONE PROVIDER OR DO I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD AN APP?
Parents and pre-approved contacts can contact the watch directly through the free Watchipals Setracker App which is available to download at the Google Play and Apple Store.
For Voice calling - the Watchipals watch can make and receive calls just like a mobile phone and it doesn't require the App.
Please note that the watch can only call to and be called by numbers which are approved by parents ( saved contacts ).

Watchipals allow kids to send Text, Emojis, Voice messages and photos & videos to parents, and now you can also set up a group with your kids Watchipals watches & family members phones.

WHO CAN MESSAGE THE WATCH?
Only contacts who has been approved by the Parent can message the watch directly through the Watchipals Setracker app.

Yes! You can set up a group chat with your entire family & other Watchipals watches.
You can now create a group chat between all family members / approved users and 1 or more Watchipals watches so you can always stay in touch in the most entertaining way!
WILL MY CHILD BE ABLE TO SEE ANY TEXT MESSAGES I SEND WHEN IT IS IN DND (DO NOT DISTURB) MODE?
When in Do Not Disturb mode, messages that are sent cannot be seen as the watch is shut off from any alerts or notifications. During DND mode, only the screen remains on to show the time to limit distractions. However, the watch can still be tracked by the Parent/Admin during DND and any messages sent will come through as soon as the DND mode time limit is up. so your child will be able to see them after DND mode is off.
CAN Watchipals CALL INTERNATIONAL NUMBERS?
Yes, Watchipals can communicate with international/overseas numbers if your plan allows that. You will need to set up the contacts through the free Watchipals Setracker app with all applicable dialing details which can be provided by your local carrier.
PHOTOS & VIDEOS
Can the watch send & receive photos?
Yes, the Watchipals smartwatch allows for 2-way photo sharing to be sent from watch-to-watch or watch-to-App.
Parents / approved app users can also send photos to the watch.
Hows the camera quality?
Watchipals smartwatch is equipped with an HD front camera to allow smooth experience during video calls and photo capturing.
Is watchipals Video calling function smooth?
